To be The Best Young Leader

The future of Indonesia is determined by quality of young children today. As part of Indonesian nation, we must prepare to be the next generation, that is strong and ready to continue about vision and mission of senior generation. Indonesian nation needs a concept of thinking and strategies to care for diversity, especially in religion and culture.

Why this topic needs serious attention?

Yes, this topic is very important because Indonesia has a large number of people, about 250 million people. In addition, Indonesian people have a special personality, which there is nothing in other nation. For example hospitality, a peaceful democratic process, life of the nation that is tolerant, moderate and so on.

In religion aspect, Indonesia has also a Muslim community with a large number, about 200 million people. In other religion, there are Hindhu, Khatholic, Budhis and so on.

Iran after the revolution, the authorities in the country do not give space to women. In Pakistan and Afghanistan there are many wars. Arab Springs until today there is no reconciliation. In the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there is no room for democratization. In Indonesia there is more beauty and peace.

Because Indonesia has several strength, we should have a nationality of awareness and knowledge of the international community. And, in my opinion actually Indonesia has a great potential to build world harmony.

As a young Indonesian people, there are two main tasks I have to do.

First, I will learn to care of diversity of conditions (especially in terms of religion and culture) in Indonesia.

Second, learn, look and listen carefully the conditions of the existing diversity in the other country. The experience from the other country is very important as discussion material with young people in Indonesia. Especially to convince the younger generation, that our nation can participate in building the humanity, in Indonesia and the world.
